Meet Tiara

I arrived to bodywork through a lifetime of exploration as a mover. After nearly two decades as a competitive swimmer and water polo player, I had acquired a constellation of injuries and movement patterns. I spent many years navigating chronic pain and symptoms that found no relief. Through my own healing journey, I found Structural Integration/Rolfing which offered me long-lasting relief and inspired my path into this field.

My foundational studies took me to Whidbey Island, at the Soma Institute of Structural Integration. I find bodywork to be the meeting space of science, art, medicine, and movement. To me, the essence of bodywork is an invitation into curiosity for the human and felt experience of being alive.

As a practitioner, I am sensitive, curious, compassionate, and playful. Life and the human body endlessly inspire me as a magical and emergent experience.

I am Seattle-born and raised, with Brazilian roots. I love to spend time in wild places, backpacking, cooking, and dancing.

If you’d like to explore working together, please contact me. If there isn’t alignment, I can refer you to resources that may better serve you.

“To be alive in this beautiful, self-organizing universe — to participate in the dance of life with senses to perceive it, lungs that breathe it, organs that draw nourishment from it — is a wonder beyond words.”
